I just read your comment on Jaime's blog and I commend you for speaking your mind and you gave me the courage to speak mine, even though it will most likely cause the loss of several "friends" and start a dispute with my sil. We must stand up for what is right and I want to thank you for your comment. The Mormon church is really hyping this and feeding it's members a great deal of propaganda (from what I can tell)and I think that it is sad.
Thanks for your support, Yvonne. It's very much appreciated. We need more straight allies like you.To read a true story about the impact of the lack of marriage equality, go to this link.Remember, you're not alone. And I'm sure lots of forward-thinking people of faith in the south in the 60s caught flak if they were in favor of overturning laws against interracial marriage.
I am adding your blog to my list, it is uplifting and exciting to read from a person who can think and read and form an educated opinion! and.. love the Haiku! no more tomatoes is sad...
